Do I need a developer to connect Shopify and Ready2Order?

No. Install Ready2Sync from the Shopify App Store, authorize your Ready2Order account, and you're connected — no code, no migration, no manual CSV exports.

What does Ready2Sync cost, and is there a free trial?

Two plans, both billed in USD through the Shopify App Store: Sync Starter at $15/month covers real-time inventory sync, and Sync Advanced at $45/month adds full product sync, field-level control, category and collection sync, and price and VAT/tax-rate sync. Sync Starter includes a 7-day free trial.

Which direction does the sync run — Shopify to Ready2Order, the other way, or both?

You choose. Ready2Sync supports bidirectional sync, Shopify → Ready2Order only, or Ready2Order → Shopify only. You can change direction at any time from settings.

Can I control which product fields get synced?

Yes, on the Sync Advanced plan. You pick exactly which fields to keep in sync — name, description, price, tax rate, and more — and leave the rest untouched in either system. Sync Starter covers inventory sync only.

Does it sync in real time, or do I have to trigger syncs manually?

Both. Ready2Sync runs automatically in real time whenever data changes, and you can also trigger manual syncs whenever you want full control over timing.

Will it overwrite my existing products?

No. The initial sync matches products by SKU and respects the direction and field rules you configure. You stay in control of what gets written where.
